Hey, those having problems with the lagging issues in MapleSEA... Extracted from the web. Apparently some of them having lagging issues in Singapore. (o.O)
Dear Maplers,
We recognise that something has gone wrong since 12th June 2.30pm. We understand that many Maplers have been facing major lag issues since then.
However, we have not been able to pinpoint the exact problem that is causing the lag as yet.
As such, we would like to get the help of Maplers to assist us.
We need the trace routes from you Maplers who are lagging.
Steps to do a trace routes.
1) Start -> Run -> type 'CMD' -> at the >, type: tracert www.maplesea.com
2) Right click and click 'Select all', press 'ctrl' + 'C' to copy the content, and paste content here.
Alternative if you are getting "request timed out" all the way.
1) Start -> Run -> type 'CMD' -> at the >, type: ping www.maplesea.com
2) Right click and click 'Select all', press 'ctrl' + 'C' to copy the content, and paste content here.
This will enable us to check how the traffic is routed to our server. So as to find out which portion of it is contributing to the lag.
Updates:
- So far I heard that this is an ISP issue and Starhub has since done something to try and rectify it. Please continue to give more feedback. Do add in the ISP you are using too.
- Starhub will be looking into this issue again using all the tracerts and pings provided.
